Picnic at Pilat dune

Coming to the Sauternes region, we highly suggest a tour to the Arcachon bay. With our local partner, you could discover unmissable places thanks to a packaged excursion.

The Tourbillons (swirl in French) excursion takes you to the Pilat dune, to set foot on swirling sand feeling the ocean breeze. You will admire a 360° view, from the ocean to the pinewood on the highest European dune. A seasonal picnic will enable you to fully enjoy this day at the beach.

The Tourbillons excursion includes for 2 people:

• Walk on the Pilat Dune (towels and umbrellas provided)
• Picnic with starter, main course, dessert, water and half a botlle of sauternes (La Chapelle de Lafaurie) prepared by chef Jérôme Schilling, Meilleur Ouvrier of France
• Beach of Petit Nice
• A round trip of 1 hour 10 min each way with a driver at your disposal

At sunset, the light enhances the sand colour. We also suggest that you take time for a drink at La Corniche (not included) to admire this special moment.
