2018-2021: 3 years of success alongside Relais & Châteaux

Three years ago, the Hotel & Restaurant LALIQUE at Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey became a member of the iconic Relais & Châteaux association.

The Hotel & Restaurant LALIQUE at Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey welcomes new customers every day both to the 5-star hotel and to the gourmet restaurant LALIQUE, one star in the Michelin Guide since 2019. The hotel’s front desk team under the responsibility of Lucie Cozzi, “Maître de Maison” of the Hotel & Restaurant LALIQUE at Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey, closely follows the Relais & Châteaux charter and works hand in hand with the association to optimize the customer experience.

For more than 60 years, Relais & Châteaux has elevated the art of living to the rank of 10th art!

It’s a beautiful story, that of men and women who invest in a charming hotel, an exceptional restaurant, to better share their passion. This story has been around since 1954.

60 years ago, Marcel and Nelly Tilloy, a couple of music hall artists, owners on the right bank of the Rhône of the hotel-restaurant La Cardinale, had the idea of ​​presenting their “Route du Bonheur” linking their establishment to seven others. Eight separate, authentic inhabited places, located between Paris and Nice, outside the cities, united around common values: a high level of service, exceptional gastronomy and a particular conception of the Art of Living. This union marks the birth certificate of what will become the most prestigious hotel association in the world: Relais & Châteaux.

Relais & Châteaux, established in 1954, is an association of 580 unique hotels and restaurants throughout the world, owned and operated by independent entrepreneurs – most often families – who are passionate about their craft and deeply committed to forging warm, lasting relationships with their guests.
